I know, I know. Thing is, my comedy never quite translates into writing.

What? Everything translates into writing. Stuff doesn't transfer OUT of writing. Take "lol" for example.
True. But it's the physical comedy that just won't work.

Well, imagine I had a stick.

A stick?
A stick. And imagine you had a mallet.

A mallet.
Yes. And you tried to hit me on the head with the mallet.

I'd then block you with my stick, and use my hand to smack you on the head.
You'd make a stupid face, say "Doh!" and audiences go wild with laughter.

You can still do that.You got your little tools for it right on the keyboard there.
Yeah, I know. But look at this:

*Attempts smack with mallet*
*Blocks mallet with stick and uses hand to smack upside the head*

Did you see that? Up there? It's a disgrace.
You're right, it just doesn't work.

I don't know any other way to smack you upside the head.
Maybe the problem is with me getting smacked. Why don't I try smacking you?
